Bluetti AC70 vs Goal Zero Yeti 1000X

Side-by-side on the specs that decide it — surge, capacity, runtime and price.

Both models' specs verified against manufacturer listings · Last updated

The short answer

Bluetti AC70 costs $700 less. Whether that gap is worth closing depends on what you need to run.

⚠️ Before you buy

The Goal Zero Yeti 1000X is poor value on paper: 0.82 Wh per dollar versus 1.54 for the Bluetti AC70. Only worth it if you specifically need its higher output or 240V capability — otherwise you're paying a large premium per watt-hour.

Bluetti AC70

768Wh with 1000W output at $499 — it does what the EcoFlow River 2 Pro does, with more output and more weight.

Best for: Campers who need to run a small fridge, not just charge devices.

Where it falls short:

  • 22 lb — 5 lb heavier than the River 2 Pro
  • Not expandable
Goal Zero Yeti 1000X

The older X-series 1kWh. Rugged and expandable, but its Li-ion cells and 2-year warranty look dated next to the LiFePO4 6th-gen Yeti 1000.

Best for: Only at a discount against the newer LiFePO4 Yeti 1000.

Where it falls short:

  • NMC — ~500 cycles vs 4,000 for the new Yeti 1000
  • 2-year warranty
