Goal Zero Yeti 1500X vs Zendure SuperBase Pro 2000

Side-by-side on the specs that decide it — surge, capacity, runtime and price.

Both models' specs verified against manufacturer listings · Last updated

The short answer

Zendure SuperBase Pro 2000 costs $400 less. Whether that gap is worth closing depends on what you need to run.

⚠️ Before you buy

The Goal Zero Yeti 1500X is poor value on paper: 0.76 Wh per dollar versus 1.31 for the Zendure SuperBase Pro 2000. Only worth it if you specifically need its higher output or 240V capability — otherwise you're paying a large premium per watt-hour.

Goal Zero Yeti 1500X

The previous-generation flagship. Its NMC battery is the catch — far fewer cycles than the LiFePO4 units now around it, including its own replacement.

Best for: Only at a steep discount against the newer LiFePO4 Yeti 1500.

Where it falls short:

  • NMC chemistry — roughly 500 cycles vs 4,000 for the new 1500
  • 180-minute recharge is slow
  • Only a 2-year warranty
Zendure SuperBase Pro 2000

A design-forward 2kWh with a built-in cart, 4G and GPS — feature-rich, but its NMC cells mean fewer cycles than the LiFePO4 field now around it.

Best for: Buyers who value portability features and design over maximum cycle life.

Where it falls short:

  • NMC chemistry — fewer cycles than LiFePO4 rivals
  • 3,000W surge is modest for the price
